Life & Health Coach,
Personal Fitness Trainer,
Yoga Instructor

I am a Professional Certified Life and Wellness Coach, a 200-hour certified Yoga Instructor and a Personal Fitness Trainer
As a former educator, who transitioned into the Wellness and Fitness industry over 18 years ago, I have always had a passion for encouraging people to tap into their full potential and become the best version of themselves. I believe, once you do that, you can start living the life you’ve always dreamed of.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. I taught Elementary school for 9 years and became a Director of an Early Child Education Center. I loved both teaching and administration but, when my husband and I relocated for his job, I chose to be a stay-at-home mom to our 3 daughters with plans to someday return to the classroom.
When my youngest daughter started preschool, I was invited to a Kickboxing class by a fellow school mom. I reluctantly went, knowing I wasn’t very fit. I won’t lie, it hurt, everywhere! But I stuck with it, I needed it. Not just physically but emotionally and socially. About 6 months into classes, our trainer got engaged and told us she was moving out of state. She added, “Don’t worry, Jeannie will take over”. Here’s the funny part, I had already been looking into how to become a fitness instructor because I enjoyed the classes so much and the educator in me thought it would be fun to teach fitness! With her encouragement, I enrolled in a Personal Fitness Training course, took over the classes and started to grow my own business. I loved feeling fit but I also loved encouraging others to discover fitness and add movement to their lives.
About 6 months after I started my business, I took my first Yoga class. It took some time but I fell in love with Yoga. And as I usually do, I decided I should get certified in this too! I took my first certification and added Yoga to my class schedule immediately. My love for Yoga grew and today, I hold a 200-hour Yoga certification.
During the Pandemic, when I was unable to continue my classes and work out in-person, I realized how much I missed the benefits of movement, connection, and socialization. It was replaced with fear, anxiety, and stress. I spoke with friends, relatives, and clients experiencing the same feelings. I gave advice and strategies for coping, as I had for a long time. But something was different this time. I wanted to do more, to help more, to reach more people so I decided to get certified as a Life Coach and Health Coach. It had been a dream of mine for a while, but I knew this was the time.
As a Coach, I work with my clients to develop a positive mindset, find clarity, create a vision for their future, implement a consistent plan of action, work through obstacles that oppose their goals, and align their life in the direction of their dreams. Throughout the process, I provide accountability, encouragement, guidance, and motivation.
